A literary arts magazine. And so much more. Yeah, we pretty much do everything. And we do it at night.

The Challenge
Most of the video poems on this page find their basis in the Japanease Haiku, a three line, structured poem based on a syllable count and the ability of the writer to create a contrast somewhere in poem.

Sound easy? A three line poem?

Not at all.

Anyone can write a Haiku, but only the best writers can create such a short poem and pack layers of subtext into the juxtapositon of ideas and images. And then, given limited technological resources, these students created video proudctions to further highlight the depth of their writing. That's pretty amazing, but I think you will see that for yourselves.
